Our venue is 21+ (unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian). A valid ID is required to attend any age-restricted events and to consume alcohol. Accepted forms of identification include state-issued ID or Driver’s License, a valid, non-expired US Government or Military ID, or an official passport.

The Bell House has a very strict underage drinking policy that follows state law, and if you do not have an acceptable ID that states your age at 21 or older, you will be considered the same as a minor and will not be able to purchase, consume, or possess alcohol in the venue. Violators will be removed from the building without warning and will not be eligible for a refund.

For most events, The Bell House features a mixed seating and standing room layout. Some events offer reserved seating, while others are primarily standing.

Please check the specific event details for more information on seating arrangements. This information will also be featured in your ticket confirmation email.  

Seating is first-come, first-served. While we can’t guarantee that groups will be seated together, arriving at least 45 minutes before showtime and entering the showroom as a complete group gives you the best chance of sitting together.

Seating requests and specific seat locations cannot be accommodated or guaranteed.

Sometimes our shows do sell out in advance, so we always recommend purchasing tickets early when possible. That said, there are still a few things you can try!

Occasionally, additional tickets are released the day before or even the day of the show, so we recommend checking back and refreshing the ticket link closer to showtime, just in case.

If you’re feeling lucky, you’re also welcome to come to the venue early and wait in our standby line. In some cases, tickets are released shortly before showtime, and standby guests may be able to purchase them at the door.

While availability can’t be guaranteed, we’ll always do our best to get you into the show!

Return to the place of purchase to see what the return policy is. If you purchased them by visiting our box office, our policy is that the tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Tickets for cancelled shows can be refunded at the point of purchase. If you purchased tickets online through TheBellHouseNY.com, livenation.com, or ticketmaster.com, your refund will be processed automatically within 3-5 business days.

Doors open 1 hour before showtime, except for late shows.

In-and-outs are not permitted at our venue. Make sure you don't leave the venue unless you don't plan on coming back!

Street parking is available, but we recommend using public transport if possible.

The Bell House is located at 149 7th Street, Gowanus, Brooklyn, NY. Here are some directions: 

• By Subway: Take the F, G, or R train to the Smith-9th Street station. It's a short walk from there 
• By Bus: The B61 bus stops nearby. 
• By Car: Street parking is available, but we recommend using public transport if possible.

Ticketing for Live Nation shows are handled exclusively through Ticketmaster. You can purchase tickets via phone at the Ticketmaster Service Line 1 (800) 745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources (StubHub, VividSeats, Craigslist) may be invalid, refunded, lost, stolen, or counterfeit, and if so are void.

Same rules as gambling, but the only thing you’ll lose is your voice from laughing.

Out of respect for our comedians and ticket buyers, heckling or any disruption of the show will not be tolerated. 

Share laughs, not drinks. 
Seriously, don’t share alcohol with those under 21. We’ll kick you both out, and it won’t be fun for anyone.

The Bell House is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our guests to enjoy their visit! We encourage you to review our safety and security information below prior to arriving at the venue.

Please arrive early to allow enough time for you and your guests to move through the queue and enter the venue.
Prior to entering the venue, guests will be searched (wand or walk-through metal detection and/or pat-downs) to ensure that no restricted items enter the building.
We suggest you leave valuable and unnecessary items at home.
You may be asked to empty your pockets of all items so that they can be examined.
All alcohol and narcotic laws will be strictly enforced.
All bags will be searched, and no large bags or backpacks will be allowed.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone. If you see something that concerns you, please say something to our Management or Security so we can ensure the best experience possible.

No Outside Food or Drink Allowed
No guns, knives, weapons, pepper spray, projectiles of any kind, or any other item that could be used to inflict harm.
Replicas of any type of weapon are NOT permitted.
No drugs or drug paraphernalia, illegal substances of any kind.
No personal video cameras, Go-Pros, selfie sticks, drones, masks or laser pointers.
No professional audio, video, or audio recording equipment - (including detachable lenses, tripods, zooms or commercial use rigs)
No unsealed liquids or gels of any kind
No jewelry or clothing that could inflict harm
No large bags over (10” x 10”), backpacks, Camelbacks, or Bota bags
No stuffed animals or toys of any kind
This list of prohibited items is subject to change at the discretion of venue management
Zero Tolerance For Drug Use or Possession
The use or possession of any illegal drugs will not be tolerated anywhere inside or outside the venue. Security personnel and narcotics officers will be working and enforcing all drug-related laws. Do not bring any illegal substances to the event, as violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If you are found impaired at the door, security will not allow you to enter the venue. Event staff reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone. Please come with a smile and be prepared to enjoy a fun-filled night of comedy. 
Safety and Medical
Live Nation is dedicated to providing a safe environment. Public and private security will be present throughout the entire event. The Security Staff will be available to assist with your needs, including any medical requests.

If you need to enter with prescribed medication to be taken during the event, we require that all medication be in its original container and labeled with a name that can be verified with a photo ID. If you do not have a container with a name on it, we may request documentation to confirm the need for this medication as you enter the venue. Please only bring what is required for the duration of the event. We cannot store any type of medication. Over-the-counter medication must be in its original packaging.

Feel free to bring your camera to take pictures before and/or after the show. An announcement will be made if it is time to put your cameras and cell phones away. Any violation of this rule results in expulsion from the venue with no exceptions.

Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the venue. This also includes vape cigarettes.
