Jon Benjamin Jazz Daredevil
Jon Benjamin Jazz Daredevil・Sun, Jan. 5・6:30pm Doors・7:30pm Show
The Jazz Daredevil was born in 2015 with his debut album, ‘Well, I Should Have…Learned how To Play Piano’. Since, he has changed the way we think about not just about jazz, but music in general and the interpolation of sound. His music personifies struggle, and that struggle is universal. It’s a cry, a screech into the cave, and the echoes reverberate, not in a good way. His new album takes on new depth. The Original Soundtrack Album To The (unproduced) Motion Picture, The Jazz Daredevil Movie. The only problem, there is no motion picture, but we will always have the soundtrack to guide us. Or more accurately, will it guide us? Or do we care? With the Jazz Daredevil, it’s always about risk- risking irrelevance with each and every note hit.
